Larian Studios hat in ihrem hauseigenen Newsletter neue Veröffentlichungstermine für Baldur’s Gate 3 bekanntgegeben. Für PC erscheint es nun bereits am 3. August, während man auf der Playstation 5 etwas länger, nämlich bis zum 6. September 2023 warten muss. Auf Xbox Series X/S wird das Spiel vorerst nicht erscheinen, man arbeite aber immer noch an einer Version für die Microsoft-Konsolen.
Folglich kann man die 260 Euro teure Collector’s Edition auch nur für PC und PS5 erwerben. Neben Diorama, Artbook und Stoffkarte gibt es vor allem Digitales – inklusive dem Spiel selbst. Ganz richtig, eine physische Kopie des Spiels ist da nicht enthalten. Während die Collector’s Edition selbst um den ursprünglichen Termin am 31. August ausgeliefert wird, sollen die Download-Codes für das Spiel zeitnah an die Käufer per E-Mail verschickt werden. Folglich bekommen PC-Spieler dieser bereits früher, während man auf der PS5 länger darauf warten muss.
