Bethesda hat heute ziemlich überraschend ein Remaster von Quake II für PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X/S und PC veröffentlicht. Wer eine Abo des Game Pass besitzt, kann direkt losspielen!
Wer sich das Spiel lieber ins Regal stellen möchte, wird bei Limited Run Games fündig. Dort gibt es Quake II gleich in drei unterschiedlichen Versionen. Wer $150 investiert, bekommt die Strogg Edition mit vielen Extras und dem Spiel auf Datenträger. Wer nicht so viel ausgeben will, kann das Spiel auch in einer Standard-Box für $35 erstehen. Limitiert ist davon nichts. Alle Editionen können bis 10. September vorbestellt werden. Danach muss man sich dann aber gedulden, denn Produktion und Lieferung dauern ca. acht Monate.
