Wie auch schon in den vergangenen Jahren feiert Microsoft mit Xbox den Pride Month Juni mit der Bekanntgabe neuer Kooperationen und Spielen. Das Episoden-Abenteuer Tell me Why von Don’t Nod ist den kompletten Juni nun schon zum dritten Jahr in Folge kostenlos erhältlich.
Die in diesem Rahmen von Microsoft kuratierten Spielen, haben nicht nur queere Charaktere, sondern stammen auch von Entwicklern und Künstlern, die sich diesem Lager zugehörig fühlen. Mir hat The Big Con besonders gut gefallen. Darin schlüpfen wir in die Rolle der Teenie-Taschendiebin Ali, deren Homosexualität zwar nicht im Mittelpunkt steht, aber von Erika Ishii vertont wird, die offen pansexuell und genderfluid lebt. Das Spiel ist im Game Pass enthalten und kann auf Konsole (One und Series), PC und via xCloud auch auf anderen Endgeräten gespielt werden.

Pride Month. Was ist denn mit den restlichen 11 Monaten, darf ich da nicht mehr Pride sein? Wer hat sich denn diese Schwachsinn ausgedacht! Und die ganzen Firmen, die dann nur im Juni Farbe bekennen (und in ihren Social-Profilen zeigen) – echt mies, das Ganze!
Hast ja schon irgendwie Recht. Aber bei Microsoft ist man ehrlich bemüht und beschränkt das sicherlich nicht nur auf den einen Monat, wo das ins Licht der Öffentlichkeit gerückt wird.
